Dropping a bouncing bomb, being hit by the water spray
At the beginning of the Second World War, British invented the bouncing bomb to destroy enemy dams and battleships. To drop such bombs, the airplane had to fly exactly 20 meters above water at 400 km/h.
In this video, the bomber is damage by a water jet caused by the bomb impact on the water. Fortunately, the crew managed to keep the control of the plane.
