Amazingly saved by a tree

This Cessna 172 had to made an emergency landing in a Connecticut (USA) parking lot further to an engine failure. A tree saved the life of the pilot. He escaped with only minor injuries.

This pilot is lucky to be alive, thanks to a tree that seemed to have dissipated much of the impact forces from the stall and the tree prevented the aircraft from striking the parked cars left wing low and a possible gasoline fire. Tree branches can impale the occupants or tear the plane & people to pieces.
