This is what happens when you miss your flare
A key maneuver for landing is called flare. The flare precedes the touchdown phase of landing. In the flare the nose of the plane is raised, slowing the descent rate and the speed, and the proper attitude is set for touchdown. The attitude is set to touchdown on the main landing gear first. Then the nose landing gear shall slowly descend to contact the runway.
This video shows what happen when the flare maneuver is missed. This Let 410 has completely missed its flare: the pilot did not pitch up before landing. Both main and nose landing gear touched the ground simultaneously. Fortunately, there were no injuries on board, but the plane was slightly damaged. It can happen to everybody to miss its landing, but the good decision in that case would have been to go around after the first bounce, and retry a cleaner landing.
