Karachi, PakistanThe Beechcraft 1900C operated by JS Air was performing a passenger flight. The plane took off from Karachi, Pakistan, bound to Bhit, Pakistan with 17 passengers and 4 crew members. The plane crashed shortly after takeoff. All the 21 people onboard were killed.

The airplane was chartered by Italian oil company Eni to transport personnel to an oil field near Bhit Shah in Sindh province. Seconds after lift off, the crew reported that the right hand engine failed. They radioed that they was returning to the airport. However, while the airplane was attempting to return to the airport, it nose dived, crashed, and bursts into flames. The wreckage was found near a military depot, near a residential area in Gulistan-e-Jauhar Town.

The airplane impacted terrain about 2 minutes after becoming airborne. Television footage showed the aircraft split in two, the front part totally destroyed and the rear section, marked JS Air, torn off alongside two wheels.
