The Fokker 27, belonging to Pakistan International Airlines - PIA, was on a passenger flight from Multan (Pakistan) to
Lahore with 41 passengers and 4 crew members. It crashed shortly after takeoff killing all the 45 people onboard.
The plane developed engine problems on the right side just after take-off. The plane began to come down abruptly, hit an
electric power line before crashing into a wheat field and erupting in flames.
