TRACEP Antonov AN-28 plane crash

The Antonov 28 belonging to the local private airline Air Traset was on a flight from the mining town of Lugushwa
(130 km south of Bukavu) and carried mining products but also 14 passengers. The plane went down on approach to its
destination airport in Bukavu (Congo).
The Antonov descended in low clouds and struck a mountainside. It crashed in a forest and caught fire. All the 17 people
onboard were killed.
TRACEP is currently on the blacklist of airlines banned from flying in the European Union.
