Good performance of the pilot who lands with a damaged landing gear

What happens in this video ?

In 1993, at Shoreham Airport, uk, a twin Engine plane with 4 persons aboard is forced to land with the starboard wheel not locked down. The pilot completes a text book emergency landing after circling for 45 minutes to burn up fuel.

Textbook Emergency landing. Even choosing the grass was a smart idea. The Pilot even manages to shut both engines off before touchdown. I assume he managed to get the fuel turned off too. Notice the doors are open at touchdown as well... he did everything right, and everyone walked away because of his cool-headed thinking. It's not about saving the plane, it's about saving the passengers - THAT is your top priority as Pilot in Command.
