Angara Airlines Antonov An-24RV plane crash

The Antonov AN-24 operated by Angara Airlines took off from Ulan-Ude, Russia, for a passenger flight to Nizhneangarsk, Russia. 43 passengers and 4 crewmembers were onboard. After landing, the plane veered off the runway, collided with a building and caught fire. 2 personns were killed, 7 people were injured, 37 people remained uninjured. The plane was destroyed.
The crew declared a distress about 16 NM (30 km) from the destination airport, while descending through FL100, reporting the failure of the left hand engine. The Antonov landed 12 minutes later, rolled out on the runway for some distance, then veered right off the runway, went over soft ground and impacted a building. The two persons killed in the accident are the captain and the flight engineer.
