Tara Air DHC-6 Twin Otter 300 plane crash

The de Havilland DHC-6-300 Twin Otter operated by Tara Air took off from Pokhara, Nepal, to Jomsom, Nepal. 19 passengers and 3 crewmembers were onboard. The plane was on approach on Jomsom airport, about 16 NM south of Jomsom and at 13,000 ft when it crashed in a mountainous area. The aircraft has been pulverised. All the 22 people onboard were killed.
The approach to Jomsom airport is going through a valley and requires the plane to be flown accurately. At the time of the accident, some clouds were covering the valley.
Tara Air is currently on the blacklist of airlines banned from flying in the European Union.
